Five Star has demonstrated a large commitment to ESG through its partnership with Atmos. Through this partnership, Five Star is quickly becoming a leader within the climate banking space. All Atmos deposits are directly used to fund Atmos Solar Loans, which Five Star also funds.
Five Star Bank is a community bank with a historical lending footprint in auto loans, home mortgages, small business loans and personal loans. They do not have any exposure to big Oil and Gas. Many of the cars financed are internal combustion engines, but we’ll be working with them to initiate an EV lending program as well!
