Congratulations on your new Atmos Business Savings account! The next step is to fund your account so you can be on your way to earning up to 4% on your business savings and supporting clean energy with every dollar. Note only the Move Money or Administrator permissions level is able to fund the account and transactions are subject to account limits which can be viewed under Settings > Account Limits.
Option 1: Link an external bank account
- On a web browser, navigate to Settings on the left sidebar > Linked Accounts.
- Here you have two options, link via micro-deposits or instantly link with Plaid.
- If your bank is available on Plaid, you can simply enter your login credentials and connect within minutes.
- If you choose the micro-deposits option, you’ll enter your account and routing number and two small deposits will be sent to your account within 1-2 business days. You’ll then return to the platform to confirm those amounts.
Option 2: Fund via wire transfer
- If you’d like to send a wire to fund your Atmos account, you can find the bank details under the Move Money tab. You’ll choose your Savings account under “select account to fund” and the bank details will populate.
- Atmos also accepts inbound international wire transfers; we do not support outbound international wires but we are working on this feature and hope to have it ready soon!

Note any transactions initiated outside of Atmos are not subjected to account limits.
Set up a transfer (ACH) from your external bank to Atmos using Micro-deposits
- To set up a bank transfer (ACH) to Atmos using micro-deposits, log in to your other/external financial institution and add an external account. In most cases, this can be done through your online banking portal though the process may differ across financial institutions.
- You’ll need your Atmos account and routing numbers to provide to your other/external financial institution. For new accounts, once logged into your account, your account and routing numbers can be found by navigating to Move Money > Add/Receive Funds.
- Please be mindful whether you’re capturing information for your checking or savings account as your other/external financial institution may require account type.
- Allow your bank to send two small micro-deposits to your Atmos account. Wait 1-2 business days, then log into your Atmos account to look for the two deposits from your other/external financial institution.
- Verify the settled deposits directly with your other/external financial institution. Once verified, you’ll be able to set up bank transfers to/from Atmos, directly inside of your Atmos application or from your other/external financial institution. Please be mindful of daily/monthly transfer limitations that may be imposed by your other banking provider.
Please note: You must be an owner or co-signer on the other/external account to use it for bank transfers.
Set up a transfer (ACH) from your external bank to Atmos using Plaid
Please note: Plaid may not be an option for all banking services providers. Please contact the support services at your other/external financial institution if you are unsure if this feature is available for you.
- To set up a bank transfer (ACH) to Atmos using Plaid, log in to your other/external financial institution and add an external account. Follow your other/external financial institution's steps for connecting an account with Plaid. It's typically as easy as entering in your Username and Password for your new Atmos account.
